Hungarian Presidency Talks of Network Security at Balatonfüred
The Hungarian Presidency organised a meeting at Balatonfüred on 14-15 April 2011, about the protection of IT infrastructures in Europe. Each Member State of the European Union was represented at the meeting, which was addressed, among others, by Vice-President of the European Commission for the Digital Agenda, Neelie Kroes during the professional programmes.VIDEO
112 Saves Lives
The European Emergency Number Association (EENA) was set up to popularise the European emergency number 112, co-ordinate the various European emergency centres, and, among others, boost the exchange of views between the specialists dealing with emergency calls. The organisation is holding a conference in Hotel Gellért, Budapest, between 13-15 April 2011.
Focus on network and information security
Zsolt Nyitrai, Minister of State for Infocommunications of the Ministry of National Development congratulated the newly appointed officials of the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA), among them Ferenc Suba, re-elected Vice Chair and representative of CERT Hungary, at a press conference held in Budapest, 23 March 2011.
